The Transient was developed by Jered Flickinger in 2014.
THE TRANSIENT PLUS provides more than 400 samples from vintage drum machines, and analog percussion from the XS synthesizer. Two sample playback voices are used to play these samples, which can further be amplitude and ring modulated with other samples, or either of two internal modulation oscillators. A voltage-controlled mixer allows the voices to be mixed using both internal and external sources. A multimode filter can further sculpt the sound, along with built-in digital effects that include bit crushing, distortion, and companding
